Overview
This guide walks you through Invoicerr one screen at a time. Each page below mirrors a screen in the app, so you can follow along with the interface in front of you.
Signing in
Open your Invoicerr instance and sign in from the Sign in page with your email and password. If your instance uses single sign-on (OIDC), use the SSO button instead.
First-time setup
The very first time you open the app, if your company name isn't set yet, Invoicerr automatically opens an onboarding dialog that takes you to Settings → Company. Complete it before anything else: your company name, address, currency, and document numbering appear on every quote, invoice, and receipt you issue.
A good order for getting started:
- Settings → Company — your business identity and numbering
- Clients — the people and companies you bill
- Payment Methods — how clients pay you
- Quotes → Quote signing → Invoices → Receipts — the document flow
The sidebar
Once signed in, the left sidebar is your main navigation. The items appear in this order:
| Item | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | At-a-glance revenue, quotes, invoices, and client totals |
| Quotes | Create estimates and send them for signature |
| Invoices | Bill clients and track payment |
| Receipts | Issue proof of payment |
| Clients | Manage the people and companies you bill |
| Payment Methods | Reusable payment options shown on documents |
| Statistics | Revenue analytics over time |
| Settings | Company identity, templates, integrations, and account |
The sidebar footer holds the theme toggle (Light / Dark / System) and your profile menu (Account, Logout).
